PTA Fundraisers

The PTA has a number of roles and we never just want to be a cash machine for the school. However, money is the way we measure and allocate resources in our world today and fundraising for worthy causes is a central role of the PTA. We will try to maintain a level of transparency and community involvement that allows us to be credible and effective in these efforts.

• Scrip is Coming to Cabrillo!

  This holiday season the PTA will be offering scrip. Scrip comes from the gift certificates or gift cards for shops and restaurants. So start thinking about your holiday shopping list and regular restaurants you frequent. Pre-pay for your purchase by buying a Scrip card through Cabrillo PTA and you'll be donating to your school and enriching your child's education without spending an extra penny. More information and order forms will be coming in early November.

• Grocery Store Club Cards

• Fresh & Easy Fundraiser

  For every $20.00 (on one receipt) spent at your Fresh 'n Easy Market between September 15 – December 31, 2009, Cabrillo gets $1.00 donated to our School. Turn in original receipts into the school office, dated with the above dates no later than January. 8, 2010.

• Wednesday Breakfast Sales

  Please join us every Wednesday morning for breakfast. We have a variety of items including cereal, milk, bagels and cream cheese, fruit, and more. It is a delicious way to support Cabrillo.

• Wednesday Goodie Sales

  Don’t forget, the 3rd Wednesday of every month, the PTA hosts a goodie sale after school from 2-3pm near the office.

• Box Tops for Education

  Thanks to your hard work, we were able to submit 4,258 box tops with the last shipment. This means a total earning so far of over $425 for Cabrillo school! Please sign up on the website www.boxtops4education.com. If we get at least 50 people signed up from Cabrillo we will earn even more Box Tops. Every little bit counts!
